Cedar Springs Crosswalk Meeting Set for April 10

Cedar Springs Crosswalk Meeting Set for April 10

The City of Dallas is inviting Cedar Springs residents and stakeholders to attend an upcoming Community Crosswalks Engagement Session on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at Reverchon Recreation Center, 3505 Maple Ave.

According to the City, this meeting is part of its work on alternative neighborhood identity programs. The broader effort is focused on reviewing approaches used in other cities, identifying options beyond traditional pavement markings, and developing guidance for incorporating public art into the public right-of-way.

For Cedar Springs, this session is an opportunity for community members to provide direct input on potential neighborhood projects and to help shape how neighborhood identity efforts reflect the character and priorities of the area.

Community participation matters here. These meetings are designed to gather feedback from residents and stakeholders, and that feedback will help inform future projects. If you care about how Cedar Springs is represented in public space, this is a meaningful opportunity to be in the room and be heard.
