Mo Thai & Pho Announced as the Official Oak Lawn Live After-Party

When Oak Lawn Live wraps up on September 19, the night will keep going at Mo Thai & Pho.

The Thai and Pho restaurant will celebrate its grand opening by hosting the official Oak Lawn Live after-party. Everyone is welcome, while festival VIPs will receive express entry with their Oak Lawn Live wristbands.

After a full day of music, art and community on Cedar Springs, guests can head to Mo Thai & Pho for late-night food, cocktails and music. It is a good introduction to what the restaurant wants to bring to Oak Lawn: serious food during the day and a place to gather after dark.

Recipes With a History

Mo Thai & Pho may be new, but its recipes carry generations of family knowledge.

The restaurant is continuing the legacy of Chef P’or, whose cooking earned a loyal following in Dallas. Her recipes and flavors remain at the center of the menu, from curries and noodle dishes to pho, fried rice and other Thai and Vietnamese favorites.

A celebrated local chef will soon join the Mo Thai team to help lead the kitchen forward. The goal is to preserve the food people already love while expanding the menu and bringing new ideas into the kitchen.

Lunch, Dinner and Saturday Late Nights

Mo Thai & Pho is open for lunch and dinner, with late-night hours on Saturdays.

That late-night kitchen fills a real need in the Gayborhood. There are plenty of places to find a drink after dark, but fewer places where you can still sit down with friends and order a real meal.

The team is building the restaurant’s bar program, including a selection of signature cocktails. Plans also include a cocktail hour featuring Thai street food and snacks that will only be available during happy hour.

Live music and additional after-hours events are also in development. The goal is for Saturday nights to feel relaxed and social, with good food still coming out of the kitchen as the music and cocktails take over the room.

Keep Your Wristband

Oak Lawn Live takes over four blocks of Cedar Springs Road on Saturday, September 19, from noon until 10 p.m. The festival will feature three stages of entertainment, visual artists, local vendors, food and experiences throughout the Oak Lawn Gayborhood.

After the final set, head to Mo Thai & Pho for the grand opening and official after-party. Everyone can join the celebration, and Oak Lawn Live VIPs can use their festival wristbands for express entry.

Come hungry. Stay late. Keep your wristband.
