Spirit, freedom and pride are all aspirations we strive for as human beings, much in the same sense as life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Freedom of expression is the ultimate form of art and through the art of music, DJ Michael Tank devotes his life to constructing a night of passionate dancing. From countries to continents, Michael has astounded the crowds with his spellbinding mixes and thrilling rhythms.

Michael’s talents behind the booth have been pursued by such great circuit events as White Party Week and Winter Party Festival in Miami, Snowball in Singapore, Halloween New Orleans and Mardi Gras New Orleans, Purple Party Dallas, San Francisco’s Pride, Rio De Janiero’s Carnaval and New Year’s Eve, Austin’s Splash, White Party Buenos Aires, and Jungle Houston. This award-winning DJ has performed in surreal mega-clubs such as Cameo in Miami Beach, Rich’s in Houston, Universe in San Francisco, Blu in Atlanta, and in his current hometown of Fort Lauderdale at The Manor.

Tank’s abilities have earned him resident DJ status during his career at a multitude of clubs across the nation including Rich’s in Houston, the original Brick in Dallas, Oz in New Orleans, Universe in San Francisco, and currently at the infamous Twist in Miami Beach to name just a few. The high demand of his infectious style took him to new crossroads like blazing into the Seattle scene by performing at The Cuff in 2015. In the fast-paced world of dance music remixing and production, Producer Michael Tank has taken a back seat to no one. One of Michael’s collaborations with remixing partner Michael Brown generated his first #1 on Billboard Magazine’s Dance Chart. Jason Walker’s “Set It Free” not only shot to the #1 spot, but gave Jason his second #1 song and gave Michael his first sanctioned #1 remix. Since then Michael has continued to make his own versions of the songs we love by going underground and remixing classics ranging from a revamped version of his and Brown’s mix of Veronica’s “Someone to Hold 2016” to Mobin Master’s “Stand Up” to his current remix project of Eddie Baez featuring Aymie’s “Useless Man 2016”, a fantastic song that was generally undervalued when it was originally released and deserved some overdue resurrection.

In addition, Michael is finishing his degree at Florida Atlantic University in Exercise Science and Health Promotion and while he is focusing on his clients as a Personal Trainer and Health Coach, he is continuously pulled back to the music. The rhythms always keep him dancing and he is always drawn back to the beats of the underground. “It’s in my blood to mix music and I’ll never stop dancing! Music and dancing is the soul that keeps the world from falling apart and it will always be a part of me.”

DJ Brandon Moses (Dallas)

DJ Brandon Moses
Brandon’s unique style of vocal-infused dance music is very much a product of his past experiences as a professional musician. Starting in fourth grade, Brandon sang in his school and church choirs and continued to sing all the way through his years at his University. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in music education, Brandon taught middle school choir for six years. “I love to sing. It’s always been a huge part of my life. When I’m spinning, you’ll often see me singing along.”

This aspiring DJ started releasing podcasts in 2008. After gaining a small group of fans that encouraged him to keep putting out more mixes, Brandon was soon DJing live at small venues throughout the Dallas area. This soon led to a residency at The Tin Room and the Drama Room.

In October of 2010, Brandon left his residencies and concentrated on private events and parties. He has become a sought after DJ for several charitable organizations in the Dallas area. The Purple Foundation has invited him to spin at the main event of The Purple Party three years in a row. He has spun the Dallas Red Party twice, The Lambda Legal White Party in Dallas, the Toast to Life Reception for the Dallas Resource Center, and the official Black Tie Dinner After Party. His favorite charity event was a private Christmas party in which the attendees were required to bring a teddy bear to donate to Children’s Medical Center.

In addition to charitable events in Dallas, Brandon’s talent has reached further abroad. Now three years in a row, it is safe to say he is the resident DJ at the Portofino Island Resort in Pensacola Beach for Memorial Day weekend. Brandon has also played two years in a row for the Telluride Gay Ski Week in Telluride, CO.

“I’m extremely excited about what the future holds,” said Brandon. “I have big dreams, and an even bigger passion for dancing and music. It gives me great joy to see friends having fun on the dance floor, with smiles on their faces. It’s really quite simple…I love music, I love to dance, and I love making people happy. What could be better than being a DJ?”
