From White Party Palm Springs to NYC Pride to Mardi Gras Sydney—DJ GRIND headlines at the world’s premier events—and now he is coming back to Dallas to take the dance floor on a journey towards joy.
Station 4 is the perfect setting for GRIND’s big-room sound of vocal house, with a thundering sound system and state-of-the-art lighting experience in this 24,000-square-foot mega-club. In addition to its sweeping dance floor, Station 4 features a large patio and world-class drag entertainers in its famous Rose Room. DJ GRIND (San Francisco)
DJ GRIND (Stephen Massey) is one of the most sought-after up-and-coming DJs and producers on the gay circuit. With a sound firmly anchored in uplifting vocal house, he always strives to take his dance floor on a journey toward joy. In 2013, DJ GRIND was nominated for three JustCircuit Awards, including “DJ of the Year,” and he was named an “All-Star DJ” by Matineé North America. He is the winner of the 2012 JustCircuit Award for “Best Pool Party” and the 2011 GayDays National DJ Contest.
Over the past three years, DJ GRIND has headlined at some of the country’s largest events — including White Party Palm Springs, Matineé Las Vegas, GayDays, San Diego PRIDE, Sand Blast Weekend, Splash Days, and Circuit Week Provincetown — and he’s performed at many of North America’s largest venues, including clubs in New York City, Washington DC, Miami, Chicago, Atlanta, Denver, Las Vegas, West Hollywood, San Francisco, Seattle and Vancouver, among others. He’s been a featured artist on multiple RSVP Vacations’ Caribbean & Mediterranean cruises, and he’s headlined at major clubs and events in Asia (DESTINATION Beijing, Club Angel Shanghai, BED Manila) and Latin America (LVNG Mexico City, PARADISO Playa del Carmen). In 2011, DJ GRIND supported Kylie Minogue’s “Aphrodite” World Tour as an opening act.
Together with his production partner Toy Armada, DJ GRIND is also an accomplished producer & remixer. In 2013, the duo produced an official club mix for Kimberley Locke’s UK #1 pop and dance single ,“Feel the Love” (3beat Records), as well as official remixes for Jessica Sutta, Melanie B, Abigail, and Natascha Bessez, among others.
DJ GRIND’s monthly podcasts have received more than 3 million downloads worldwide, and rank as one of the most popular dance music podcasts on iTunes & Podomatic. The San Francsico-based DJ is also the resident music critic for RealJock.com, and his work has been featured on SiriusXM’s BPM & OutQ, Fusion Radio, GayInternetRadioLive, and GaydarRadio, among others.
Morgan McMichaels
Morgan McMichaels is the female persona of the amazing and ever so talented Drag Performer Thomas White. Morgan is a local fixture in Southern California’s drag circuit, with weekly shows in West Hollywood, San Diego, Long Beach, Riverside and Palm Springs CA. just to name a few.
Morgan McMichaels became a reality television personality once she joined the cast of RuPaul Drag Race Season 2 and that was only the beginning. From there Morgan went on to appear on RuPaul Drag U and now with television checked off on the list of this things to do in life.
Morgan McMichaels went on the next thing on the list music; Morgan was featured in the music video “S&M” by Barbadian singer Rihanna, which was released as the third single off her fifth album Loud.
Morgan McMichaels is one of the busiest Drag Performing Artist today, with not only her weekly shows, Morgan McMichaels still tours the Clubs in the United States and Canada.
