What is a “person of color”?
“Person of color” describes any person who is not white. This includes people from various racial and ethnic backgrounds: Black, Asian, Indigenous, and Hispanic or Latine.
I’m not a person of color. Can I still come to the event?
There are SO MANY other opportunities for you to celebrate Pride Month. Please let this event be a space just for people of color to connect and find community with each other.
This will be a FREE, queer, and affirming space for people of color 18+. Since alcohol will be consumed, we will require people under 21+ to wear a wristband. No underage drinking!
