Floor Freedom Foundation returns to the Oak Lawn Gayborhood with House Night at Alexandre’s—an all-women lineup featuring Mixed Majesty, Jess Baroness and THE M1, three DJs bringing different backgrounds, sounds and perspectives under one roof.
Created as a queer-forward and intentionally inclusive music series, Floor Freedom Foundation honors the Black and LGBTQ+ communities that helped shape house and underground electronic culture while creating space for today’s diverse artists, music lovers and culture makers.
Expect house music throughout the night, with each artist bringing her own energy and style—from jazzy and funky grooves to classic house influences, techno and deeper sounds as the night unfolds.
Come a little early if you’re hungry—Alexandre’s kitchen closes at 9 p.m., and trust us, the food is worth getting there early for. Grab a drink, meet somebody new and stick around for the music from 9 p.m.–2 a.m.
